Analysis and proposals for transforming the regulatory framework governing the state protection system in Colombia.
ASCEP's Policy Framework sets out the conceptual, regulatory, and strategic foundations that guide our institutional action. As an organization led by care leavers, our advocacy is grounded in a deep understanding of the needs and challenges young people face in their transition to independent life.
Our work is framed by Colombia's Political Constitution, the international human rights treaties ratified by the Colombian State, and the Code of Childhood and Adolescence. From this legal framework we drive the structural changes needed to guarantee the well-being and autonomy of new generations.
